Project Overview:
Bimbranch collaborated with one of our key clients to deliver a comprehensive Scan to BIM solution for the WTC Cortlandt Subway entrance in New York City. The objective was to create an accurate, as-built 3D model derived from high-resolution laser scanning data, enabling detailed assessment of existing site conditions.
Key Objectives:
-
Capture precise site conditions using LiDAR scanning technology.
-
Develop a high-fidelity as-built BIM model in Revit.
-
Conduct a spatial and structural analysis to evaluate the feasibility of installing overflow gates.
-
Support the client’s design and planning process by identifying constraints and opportunities based on real-world conditions.
Outcome:
The as-built model served as a reliable digital twin of the existing infrastructure, empowering the client to make informed decisions regarding the proposed overflow gate installation. The model also facilitated coordination with other stakeholders and ensured alignment with local regulations and spatial limitations.
